Born in Jamaica, Janice grew up with a large family in peaceful times. Living in such a charming place as a youth, her creativity and artistic talents developed and thrived under of the covering of foundational teachers and mentors, who imparted a great passion for educational excellence and good values anchored in the Scriptures of the Bible. Migrating to Maryland, she soaked up the newness of life in a different country. There were new schools, a new home with new spaces, new materials, new foods, new friends, new ways of thinking and speaking and as such catalyzed her rapid growth in many areas including Art and Writing

Throughout her growing year, Janice heard the voice of GOD at times with certainty. However, there were times of dreadful pitfalls, a lot of picking up broken pieces, grief and loss. As HE is full of grace and mercy, GOD remained her guidepost, intervened in many areas and transformed her life by the power of HOLY SPIRIT.

Committed to building strong families and communities in the Kingdom of GOD, Janice remains focused on sharing the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST through the creative experience. Armed with HOLY SPRIT revelation, she teaches Art in middle school, creates paintings, creates digital art, and designs clothing. Janice is also in the process of publishing a series of children’s books purposed to encourage children to read, to explore all the wonders in their communities and to enjoy their youth with the revelation of their identity in CHRIST. There is something of value in every community that teaches, entertains, and gives joy and hope. It is her lifetime prayer that all children will discover and remember those things wherever and however they live. Janice is called to preach the gospel to every creature with or without words.
